We're coming to Lowestoft on holiday this year from Washington DC. Really looking forward to seeing the family as we used to live near Lowestoft back in the 80's. Hi, firstly, very nice site. I was wondering if anyone can shed some light on the future of North Denes campsite and whats happening with it? I used to go there every year as a child and as a teenager then up until a few years ago all my cousins where still going up there in august for a week or weekend. Was gutted when it closed, but im trying to find out any info on its future i know its waiting to be bought but has anyone made any offers??? Is the sparrows nest still open i bet that the campsite closing has had a knock-on effect on that as well. Any infomation would be gratefully recieved, thanks.

about the hippodrome bingo: Ohh i do love a bit of bingo, so does my dear friend andy. We go every tuesday, but getting andy out is difficult, he loves it too much!. The staff are very friendly and helpful towards me & andy. I would like to say a big thank you to all of the staff for their cooperation every tuesday when andy calls out too loudly.

This site is a great idea. Lowestoft really could do with more sites like this. What i can't understand is why are not all the companies registered with you? It would make sound business sense, as this website is all over google. Nice work guys keep it up!

Now this is a lovely site, have you seen our one for North Walsham? It's terrible! I wish we had a nice site like this one! Full praise to yourselves, numerous people i've spoken to wish that the council would provide decent sites for the areas we inhabit on this island. Can't believe i've found such a useful website on Lowestoft!

It seems ridiculous that Suffolk County Council wont fund the Seagull Theatre. How many towns have got such an original and community minded facility? Very few is my experience. I think whatever it takes to change the minds of the councillors should be done. No stone left unturned. If Lowestoft wishes to show itself to be a town that does not value the performing arts then it should just lie back and allow the outside world to throw insults at it. Most recently on television Lowestoft was selected by a TV compamy to represent the lumpen English town where nothing ever happens. The seagull theatre is a cool place. Lowestoft needs to keep its cool and Im not talking about the east wind

lowestoft is great!
its full of down to earth people and there is a sense of community. I come from Cornwall and i think the beaches here are as good as they are back home.
