Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Will Snow White be the fairest of them all?

After the massive success of Cinderella the pressure is on for award winning producers Paul Holman Associates to produce a follow up. And surely there could be no story much bigger than Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs?

Most people will know the classic tale from the Disney movie- Naturally this being a panto there is the additional twists of silliness and wacky humour, provided courtesy of wonderful comic relief characters such as the dopey Muddles and Dame Dolly Dumpling adding a recipe for disaster.

But as with a lot of modern production there is the desire for a celebrity to top the cast- while the show features solid cast members such as Jon Moses (Superstar, Britain’s Got Talent) and impressionist Phillip Green the ace up the production’s sleeve is the casting of Denise Nolan as the Wicked Queen.

Producer Paul Holman was especially enthusiastic stating “I’m delighted Denise is sharing her Wicked Queen with my home-town audience in a pantomime which promises to deliver all the winning ingredients people have come to expect and deserve”

Paul lists these qualities as “epic portions of comedy capers and audience participation, chart-topping tunes with classic family favourites so everyone can have a toe-tapping, hand-clapping experience, fairy-tale scenery, creative costumes and of cause, seven dwarfs full of mischief and merriment!”

Audiences will be able to see for themselves if Snow White is indeed the fairest of them all when it opens at the Marina Theatre on Tuesday 16th December.
