Get set to burn off those Easter eggs as Lowestoft’s 5 Mile Promenade Dash returns this April.
If like the rest of us you’ve over-indulged over the easter period, now’s the time to show your body who’s boss with a brisk five mile run past some of the town’s best loved sights. The short length of the dash makes it ideal for both beginners and more advanced runners. If you’ve been running for a while, it’s a great chance to set a new personal best over a 5 mile distance.
The Lowestoft 5 mile Promenade Dash is set to take place on Sunday 9th April 2017 at the East Point Pavilion, with start times from 10:30am.
If you’re new to running and you’re feeling a bit intimidated, this is the ideal race to build your confidence. The five mile course is flat and easy-going, and five miles, while still an achievement, is a manageable distance even for a first-time runner.
